Post Hole Digger
A post hole digger or powered auger is required to dig holes to put your fence posts in. You cannot do this with just a shovel. the holes should be at least 1/3 of the height of the post for the best rigidity.
A powered auger is suggested if you have a short time to complete the project or if you have many posts to set. Even if you use a powered auger, post hole diggers are a good supplement to clean out the holes after the bulk of the work is done with the auger.
